An access control system allows you to control who has access to your premises and probably more importantly in a caring environment who has access out of the building.

Access control can be installed onto external and internal doors, fire doors and gates and can be controlled by keypads, proximity fobs and cards. Systems can be tailored to the requirements of each door, from cost-effective stand-alone systems to a full PC network system.

Electromagnetic Door Closers and Door Retainers

All fire doors either have to be locked shut or have a self-closing device fitted. Closed fire doors around the building can also inhibit the care staff as well as residents.

Door entry systems

Southern County Care can offer a wide range of audio and colour video entry systems tailored to your requirements to work alongside and interface with other systems. For example, our door entry systems can be linked to your Nurse Call Systems so a caller can alert all parts of the building.

Door entry can form part of the premises access control systems and interface with the Fire Detection and Alarm System.
